    Care Guide - Down product

Step 1: Check the care label
Always read the care label on the product carefully before washing. If the product is hand-wash only or cannot be washed at home, please strictly follow the instructions on the label.

Step 2: Prepare the detergent solution
Dissolve laundry soap or neutral liquid detergent in lukewarm water (around 40°C or less) for washing.

    Step 3: Pre-treat stains
Dip a sponge or soft cloth into the detergent solution and gently dab the stained areas. Avoid rubbing harshly, as this can damage the fabric surface.

    Step 4: Wash gently
Fold the product loosely and press it down into the water 20 to 30 times. Do not squeeze, twist, or scrub hard to avoid damaging the inner down feathers.

    Step 5: Rinse thoroughly
Rinse multiple times with clean water until all soap suds are completely gone. Leftover detergent residue can cause yellow stains or alter the fabric texture.

    Step 6: Remove excess water
Use a dry towel to absorb water or gently press the water out of the product. Do not wring or twist the garment.

    Step 7: Dry
Hang the product on a sturdy hanger in a well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight. Ensure the product is completely dry before use or storage.

    Step 8: Fluff the feathers
During the drying process, gently use your hands to fluff up any clumped feathers to help the product restore its natural loft.

FAQ
  •

Do I need to wash my Down or PUFFTECH jacket frequently?

No. For thermal products, washing too frequently can affect the loft of the insulation layer. For small stains, you can spot-clean the specific area instead of washing the entire product.

What should I do if feathers pierce through the fabric?

Gently pat and distribute the down to restore its loft. If you see feathers sticking out, never pull them out with force; instead, pull them back inside from the reverse side. Pulling them out will widen the gap, making it easier for more feathers to escape. Please note that this product is treated with a water-repellent finish of limited durability.

During the drying process, gently use your hands to fluff up and evenly distribute the inner down or padding. For PUFFTECH, you can gently pat or massage the clumped areas to make the padding more even.
